Police say a Cumming man has been charged in the death of his girlfriend’s 2-year-old adopted son. The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Department says 39-year-old Christopher Brian Gilreath is charged with felony murder, aggravated battery and cruelty to children in the death of Joshua Pinckney.

A New Bedford, CT man pleaded not guilty Friday to more than a dozen charges stemming from what a New Bedford police spokesman has characterized as “horrendous acts of abuse, including mayhem and kidnapping.”

According to Lt. Scott Peebles, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is offering a $1,000 cash reward for anyone providing information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for the November 23rd beating and robbery of a 54-year-old Augusta man inside of the bathroom of Sears at the Augusta Mall.

Police have arrested one suspect in the kidnapping and attempted killing of a 26-year-old man. Marietta Police say 30-year-old Naeem Omar Milligan is in the Cobb County jail on $75,000 bond. He was arrested Saturday for the Oct. 8 incident that left Calvin Creamer of Rome in critical condition.
