For the past five season, Dip Metress has been the face of Augusta State basketball and during this time, the Jaguars have enjoyed not one…but two trips to the division II Final Four. Georgia Tech’s Miller Recovering From Concussion
Georgia Tech point guard Moe Miller continues to suffer the effects of a concussion he suffered in a car wreck last month. Coach Paul Hewitt says Miller told him that he felt “off-balance” while practicing “a little bit” on Monday. Hewitt says Miller hit his head on a side window in the accident and suffered his third concussion in 10 months.

Javonte Clanton’s Mom Attends USC-Aiken Athletic Banquet
Meredith Legg wasn’t the only special guest at the USC-Aiken Pacers athletic banquet, Tuesday night. Shondra Clanton, the mother of the late Javonte Clanton was also in attendence. Her son was killed last month in a car accident, just hours after USC-Aiken’s regional championship basketball game against Augusta State University. The school has set up a scholarship fund in his name. WJBF News Channel 6’s Chris Kane has more.

Ole Miss Basketball Coach Makes Plea Deal In Ohio
Mississippi basketball coach Andy Kennedy has pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of disorderly conduct in his cab driver assault case. Kennedy avoided trial and possible jail time with the plea deal Monday in Hamilton County Municipal Court in Cincinnati. He will be on probation for six months and must perform 40 hours of community service.
