The National Weather Service in Columbia has issued a flood watch for portions of east central Georgia and central South Carolina.

The game has seen its own hits from the economy. Many high schools around the country felt their programs suffer as budget cuts and job losses took them down. It’s the third plant in the last three months to bring bad news to Barnwell County. Officials with Alliance Air Enterprises, located in Blackville, SC, announced they are beginning the process of shutting down, and taking away 350 jobs.
