President Obama Decries Big Pay For Bailed-Out Executives
President Barack Obama says Americans’ values are offended by excessive paychecks for executives whose companies were bailed out by taxpayers. Speaking at the White House on Thursday, Obama praised the Treasury Department’s decision to order seven big companies that haven’t paid back last year’s government bailouts to halve their top executives’ average compensation.

Judge Rejects Deal Between SEC, Bank Of America Over Bonuses
A federal judge has rejected a $33 million settlement between the Securities and Exchange Commission and Bank of America over bonuses paid by Merrill Lynch. U.S. District Judge Jed Rakoff called the proposed consent judgment “inadequate.“

According to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, the Bank of America branch located at 3430 Wrightsboro Road was robbed, Thursday morning. The suspect is described as a black male, 5’10” to 5’11” tall,and weighing 150-160 pounds. The suspect was last seen wearing a white ball cap with a colored bill, white t-shirt with stripes, dark pants and sunglasses. On video, you can see the dye pack explode on the suspect as he runs across the street into the parking lot of a Checkers restaurant.

Fourth Person Wanted in Connection To North Augusta Bank Robbery
According to Lt. Time Pearson, North Augusta Department of Public Safety detectives have identified a fourth suspect in the robbery of the Bank of America, on West Martintown Road, on April 23rd. The fourth suspect is identified as 24-year-old Anthony Marquese. Martin, AKA “T-Money”. He is wanted on charges of Bank Robbery and Possession of a Firearm during a Violent Crime.

North Augusta Bank Robbery Suspects Arrested
According to Lt. Tim Pearson, the North Augusta Department of Public Safety has arrested three suspects in connection to a April 23rd robbery at the Bank of America branch, located at 441 West Martintown Road. The three suspects are identified as: David J. Dixon, 18, of the 500 block of Dove Street, in North Augusta; Quinton R. Harmon, 19, of the 200 block of Bryant Avenue, in North Augusta; Roosevelt Johnson, Jr., 19, of the 600 block of Celeste Avenue, in North Augusta.

North Augusta Robbery Suspect Arrested
According to Lt. Tim Thornton, the North Augusta Department of Public Safety (NADPS) responded to a tip claiming to have direct personal knowledge of a pending armed robbery of a local business as their employee made the night deposit at their bank. This information was received by members of the Criminal Investigation Division and a plan was devised to successfully prevent the crime from occurring.

UPDATED: Augusta Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested After High Speed Chase
The Bank of America branch on the 2800 block of Washington was robbed Friday afternoon. Several law enforcement agencies were involved in the search process for the suspect, after a high speed chase. The suspect was arrested near the Grovetown, Georgia exit on I-20. We’re told that the suspect vehicle hit speeds over 100 MPH during the pursuit.
