Saggy pants may be no more, if Richmond County officials have it their way. Tuesday, a new policy was passed by Richmond County Board of Education committee members.

Richmond County BOE Looks At Saggy Pants Policy At School Events
The pants get pulled up, or you get kicked out. Tuesday night, a new policy was discussed at the Richmond County Board of Education Committee meeting. It would essentially ban students from wearing inappropriate attire to school events. The problem is, how do you enforce it? WJBF News Channel 6’s Barclay Bishop has more.

Atlanta Councilmen Propose Sagging Pants Ordinance
Atlanta soon could be the latest city to outlaw sagging pants. The City Council is set to consider the issue at its Monday meeting. Council members C.T. Martin, Ceasar Mitchell and Lamar Willis are proposing the new law, which would “make it illegal to expose one’s undergarments in a public setting.“

Some Hate To See City Of Augusta Bag Saggy Pants Law
The proposal didn’t need a lot of selling at the Brigham Senior Center..the city cracking down on saggy pants. Commissioner Corey Johnson proposed the new ordinance but then decided the city should not play the part of pants police.
