Body Of SC Author Reported Missing Found In River

The body of a South Carolina author whose books profiled some of the state’s most infamous murders has been found in a river. The Sun News of Myrtle Beach reported Sunday that the body of 56-year-old Dale Hudson was found by two fishermen Saturday around 8:30 p.m. in the Pee Dee River two miles south of the U.S. 76 bridge. Hudson had been reported missing on Friday.

Chris Rock is making a comeback, as an author. Grand Central Publishing says Rock’s new book, not yet titled, will be full of “comedic observations.“ It’s tentatively scheduled for release next year.

Rapper Common Visits Augusta

Hip-Hop artist has a lot on his plate these days. He is taking a new turn in his career writing children’s books. He was in the Garden City encouraging children to read.  Rapper Common made a stop in the Garden City on his tour promoting his new children’s book series and his new CD. Common has started the “Common Ground Foundation” that’s aimed at getting kids to read. The first book in his series is called the “Mirror in Me”.
