An Augusta woman is dealing with a big mess after a huge oak tree went right through her roof. WJBF News Channel 6’s Paige Tucker reports.

UPDATED: Augusta National Chairman Releases Statement On Possibility Of Golf In 2016 Olympic Games

International Olympic leaders are recommending golf and rugby for inclusion in the 2016 Summer Games. The International Olympic Committee executive board selected the two Thursday from a list of seven proposed sports. Failing to make the cut were baseball, softball, squash, karate and roller sports.

Augusta National Employees Make Donations

Their donation is making history…some Augusta National employees paid a visit to the Lucy Craft Laney Museum in Augusta, Tuesday morning. The workers selected the museum as to be one of the organizations to recieve a donation from the Masters golf tournament.

Louisville, GA Native Punches His Ticket To Next Year’s Masters

Louisville is located 45 miles from Augusta National National Golf Club. It took Brian Gay just less than 39 years to make the trip. The former Louisville resident won his first full-field event on the PGA Tour, Sunday, in Hilton Head, and as such earned his first-ever invitation to the Masters. Kenny Perry and Angel Cabrera will go to the final day of the Masters sharing the lead. Perry began Saturday’s third round tied for the top spot with Chad Campbell. But he overcame consecutive bogeys in Amen Corner to shoot a 2-under-par 70. The 48-year-old Kentuckian is trying to become golf’s oldest major champion, at a tournament he didn’t even play the last three years.
