Juror In Brian Nichols Trial Removed

The judge in the Brian Nichols Atlanta Courthouse murder trial has removed a juror from the case. This comes after other jurors said she talked about the jailhouse beating of a prosecution witness. That witness was Nichols’ cellmate who testified on Tuesday.

Evander Holyfield Back In Court For Child Support

A settlement has been reached in a child support case involving former heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield after he agreed to a $100,000 college fund for his 10-year-old son. A lawyer for the child’s mother says Holyfield also consented to pay private school tuition before college, reinstated health insurance for his son and settled $4,500 in attorney fees.

Shaquille O’Neal Stalking Case Delayed Again

A stalking case brought by an Atlanta woman against NBA star Shaquille O’Neal has been delayed again. The case was supposed to be heard Thursday. A Fulton County judge issued a continuance on Wednesday, postponing the hearing until Nov. 13. The delay is causing speculation that a deal to avoid a trial may be in the works.
