Michael Vick has arrived at a federal courthouse in Virginia to meet with his probation officer. The suspended NFL star’s visit Friday to the Norfolk courthouse is his first known appearance in public since he left a federal penitentiary in Kansas early Wednesday morning. He began serving two months of home confinement in Hampton on Thursday.

Arthur Blank, who once gave Vick a $130 million contract, said at the NFL owners’ meeting in South Florida that the suspended quarterback is taking positive steps by wanting to work with humane societies and making other changes in his life.
