Goshen Golf Course Vandalism Suspects Arrested

Three suspects are under arrest, facing charges of causing $70,000 worth of damage at a local golf club. The damage occurred last month at Goshen Plantation, in Augusta. The suspects arrested are identified as 18-year-old Patrick Branson Frank, 18-year-old Matthew Jeffery Fording, and an unidentified 16-year old. They are charged with Burglary, and Criminal Trespass in the 2nd Degree. A fourth suspect, 18-year-old William Justin Wiggins, is still wanted.

Officials have charged a North Carolina man with supporting terrorism by recruiting people to fight overseas. Daniel Boyd and six others are charged with providing material support to terrorism. Six suspects have been arrested in the Raleigh, N.C., area.

Aiken Man Arrested For Prostitution

According to the ‘Aiken Standard’, an Aiken man has been jailed for prostitution after he and another man were caught together on a dead end gravel road in a remote area of Tower Road, according to police. Gregory Cobbs, 25, of Chesterfield Street, is charged with driving under suspension and prostitution. Avery H. Snipes, Sr., 60, of Beaverdam Road, is charged with simple possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and open container of beer.
