According to Lt. Michael Frank, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) holds a warrant for the arrest of a Jackson man, who failed to register as sex offender and failed to notify ACSO of his change of address. Thomas R. Rhoden Jr., 34, of the 5100 block of Trotter Court, inJackson, South Carolina, will be charged with Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.

Former Denver Broncos running back Travis Henry has been arrested following an alleged cocaine deal, the Drug Enforcement Administration said Wednesday. Henry and James Mack were arrested a day earlier after the two met to buy cocaine from a person who was cooperating with authorities, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.

More than a dozen burglaries have occurred in two local neighborhoods. One suspect is in jail, but neighbors are still worried that the crimes will continue. The Cambridge and Pepperidge subdivisions have seen their fair share of crime, in just the past few weeks. Junior Matt Cerione, the starting center fielder for Georgia, has been arrested for underage consumption of alcohol. Under the university’s Athletic Association policy, athletes must be suspended for 10 percent of their games if convicted of a first-time alcohol offense. Under that policy, Cerione, who will be 21 on Jan. 4, would miss six games.

Current New York Giants and former University of Georgia running back Danny Ware has been arrested on a charge of pedestrian under the influence and pedestrian walking in the road. Ware, in his second season with the Giants, was booked at the Clarke County Jail at 5:24 a.m. on Sunday and released four hours later on $500 bond.
