Anderson County Councilwoman Accidentally Shot At Home
WSPA-TV News Channel 7 has learned that Councilwoman Gracie Floyd was injured at her home on Ramona Drive in Belton. Anderson County Sheriff John Skipper says that Floyd and a relative, identified as a 58-year old Oscar Davis, were inside the home checking a gun at the residence that they believed to be unloaded when it accidentally discharged. Davis was struck in the finger before the bullet struck Floyd in the leg.

UPDATED: SC Man Charged For Fireworks Blast That Severely Hurt Teen
Fifteen-year-old Ryan Stancell has lost his hand and most likely have to have both legs amputated after a fireworks accident Thursday night. Stancell is currently at Greenville Memorial Hospital with sever burns on his chest and will need skin grafts, according to his mother. She says they do think he will survive.

Additional Charges Filed Against SC Pastor
Anderson County sheriff’s deputies have filed more charges against a pastor accused of burning his church earlier this month. The Anderson Independent-Mail reported that 40-year-old Christopher Patrick Daniels of Belton has been charged with making a false statement about vandalism at Blue Ridge Baptist Church, where he was pastor.
