An American Airlines plane made an emergency landing in New York minutes after takeoff. The pilot had reported engine problems.

Delta Air Lines says it has agreed with its pilots and the Federal Aviation Administration to reinstate a voluntary program for pilots to report safety concerns.

Some people will have their Internet use grounded by American Airlines. The airline says it will begin filtering an in-flight Internet service because some people have been using it to access online pornography. American says it was getting complaints from attendants and passengers.
