Former Aiken County Teacher Arrested for Criminal Sexual Conduct With A Minor
According to Sgt. Dave Myers, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) has arrested a former Aiken County middle school teacher concerning Lewd Act and Criminal Sexual Conduct with a minor. Joseph Jay Magni, Jr., 28, of the 400 block of Cannon Knoll Road, in Lexington, South Carolina is charged with Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor (5 counts), and Lewd Act (5 counts). Magni formerly taught at Leavelle McCampbell Middle School.

Golf Classic Honors Aiken County Officer
it was a chance to remember someone special…and support a special event. Lieutenant Michael Frank was the face of the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office. Last November, he was killed in a car accident. Monday, a group of people got together to celebrate his life, while continuing his support for a local organization. WJBF News Channel 6’s Joy Howe reports.
UPDATED: Aiken County Accident Claims One Life
According to Aiken County Corner Tim Carlton, an Aiken County traffic accident has claimed the life of one person. The accident happened near Mt. Beulah Road and Old Barnwell Road, in Aiken County. The victim has now been identified as 52-year-old Joseph D. Randall, of Williston, SC.
