According to Aiken Electric Cooperative, electric service to some Aiken Electric Cooperative members in the northeast Aiken area is currently out due to a vehicular accident that broke two cooperative service poles.

Aiken, SC—According to Aiken Electric Cooperative, electric service to some Aiken Electric Cooperative members in the northeast Aiken area is currently out due to a vehicular accident that broke two cooperative service poles.

We are currently back-feeding the circuits and service will be restored as soon as possible.

Also, the South Carlina highway Patrol is diverting traffic on Highway 1, near the Aiken Municipal Airport, as the scene is invesitgated and the power poles are repaired.
