UPDATED: North Augusta Public Safety Officer Fired

According to Lt. Tim Pearson, on Wednesday, November 18, 2009, North Augusta Department of Public Safety Officer (NADPS) Brandon L. Cameron, 27, was arrested by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO). Cameron has been charged with Criminal Domestic Violence. UPDATE: WJBF News Channel 6 has learned that Cameron has now been fired.

Lt. Tim Pearson tells WJBF News that Brandon Cameron has been fired from the North Augusta Department of Public Safety as of Wednesday, November 25th.

North Augusta, SC—According to Lt. Tim Pearson, on Wednesday, November 18, 2009, North Augusta Department of Public Safety Officer (NADPS) Brandon L. Cameron, 27, was arrested by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO).

Cameron has been charged with Criminal Domestic Violence, and was transported to the Doris C. Gravitt Detention Center.

Cameron has since been suspended from his duties as a NADPS officer as ACSO continues their investigation.

Cameron is a 3-year veteran of NADPS.
