Myrtle Beach, SC—The “Move Over, America” campaign is hitting South Carolina.

The purpose of the effort is to help protect the law enforcement and emergency response officers who risk their lives protecting the public.

It’s a nationwide effort to raise awareness, although both Carolinas already have “move over” laws, which require motorists to move over and change lanes to give safe clearance to first responders and law enforcement officers on roadsides.
