Aiken, SC—That huge generator that is slowly making its way across South Carolina, is finally moving again, out of Aiken.

Saturday, the generator moved from the Highway 118 bypass, in Aiken, onto Highway 1. The big rig stopped again, about 1 mile from I-20 for several hours as a bridge was built across the interstate median.

Lanes on I-20 were closed near exit 22, around 9:00 p.m., as the rig was supposed to cross the median, as it is too tall to pass under the I-20 overpass over Highway 1.
