Fiery Crash Closes Highway 25 Bypass In Edgefield County For Hours

According to our news partner, EdgefieldDaily.com, a fiery crash around noon Tuesday left one man injured and the Highway 25 Bypass closed for several hours.

Edgefield, SC -– According to our news partner, EdgefieldDaily.com, a fiery crash around noon Tuesday left one man injured and the Highway 25 Bypass closed for several hours.

Dispatchers for 911 began receiving calls on the crash just after noon reporting multiple vehicles involved and at least one in flames.

Edgefield Police, Firemen, Sheriff’s Deputies, and EMS raced to the scene and arrived to find not only one of the trucks involved on fire but also the roadway and surrounding brush as well.
