In Edgefield County, a tractor-trailer traveling on Highway 25 went under a train tressel, but the equipment he was carrying didn’t make it. The equipment struck the tressel and flipped back onto a small pickup truck, killing the driver instantly. UPDATE: The victim has been identified as 27-year-old Jeremy Jay.
Edgefield County, GA—In Edgefield County, a tractor-trailer traveling on Highway 25 went under a train tressel, but the equipment he was carrying didn’t make it.
The equipment struck the tressel and flipped back onto a small pickup truck.
The pickup truck’s driver was killed instantly. The driver of the pickup truck has now been identified as 27-year-old Jeremy Jay.
