Edgefield County School District Accused Of Illegal Dumping

EDGEFIELD – According to our news partner, EdgefieldDaily.com, an anonymous tip has led the Edgefield County Sheriff’s Office to the discovery of what appears to be an illegal dump operating on property owned by local taxpayers.

To make matters worse is who appears to be the one behind the dump, the Edgefield County School District. When the dump was found it became obvious that the materials in the large hole may be there illegally; chemicals, electronics, roofing material, tires, mercury vapor light bulbs, and a wide array of other items.
