Atlanta, GA—Here’s another sign of the times: the number of people without jobs here in the CSRA continues to climb, new numbers released Thursday morning from the Georgia Department of Labor show.
Nearly 11 percent of our local workers are now unemployed…10.8 percent, a big increase from just a month ago when it was 9.5 percent.
The metro Augusta jobless rate is also over 10 percent, for the first time in many years.
Nearly a 500,000 Georgia workers are now jobless.
