FORT GORDON, GA – According to a release, Fort Gordon’s commanding general signs agreements with Adobe and NetApp Corporations Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 7 and 8, to obtain company training materials, cost savings and support for software collaborative tools and storage area networks.
These agreements will benefit the training capabilities at the Signal Center, and provide increased technical support to our warfighters.
The Signal Center’s Leader College for Information Technology will be able to train officers, warrant officers and noncommissioned officers, civilians and allied military more effectively in current, state-of-the-art technologies as a result of these agreements.
In addition to substantial cost savings to the government, the products from both companies support the command and control (C2) infrastructures of U.S. combatant commanders world-wide. This will ensure the best and most efficient support in fighting the Global War on Terrorism.
