State Representative Hardie Davis (D-Augusta) announced his intentions Friday to resign from the Georgia House of Representatives.

Atlanta, GA—State Representative Hardie Davis (D-Augusta) announced his intentions Friday to resign from the Georgia House of Representatives.

“After weeks of prayer and discussions with my family I have decided that there are other ways I can better serve the people of Augusta-Richmond County,” said Representative Davis.

Representative Davis will officially resign from his position in the state House Friday, November 20, 2009.
