Augusta, GA—It was a homecoming Augusta’s Ken Whisenhunt will never forget…
The Arizona Cardinals Head Football Coach was the guest speaker, Thursday night, at a fundraiser for area Boy Scouts.
During the event, Whisenhunt’s high school alma mater, Richmond Academy, surprised Whisenhunt by retiring his high school uniform #12. From 1978-1980, Whisenhunt quarterbacked the Musketeers.
“I’m obviously very honored, said Whisenhunt. “I don’t know if it’s deserved, but I’m very appreciative of that. As a youngster playing football, this is one of the things you dream about. This is an incredible honor for me and I’m very humbled by it.“
