UPDATED: Several Reports Of Severe Weather, Damage Across The CSRA

According to Columbia County EMA Director Pam Tucker, a tornado may have touched down Friday evening on Brown Road, near Harlem High School. Tucker says they are investigating to confirm the status of the damage. There are also several damage reports throughout the CSRA. Columbia County, GA—According to Columbia County EMA Director Pam Tucker, a tornado may have touched down Friday evening on Brown Road, near Harlem High School. Tucker says they are investigating to confirm the status of the damage.

—Tornado touch down at Browns Rd/Appling Harlem Rd (per citizen)

—Golf ball size hail reports Lonergan Hulme Rd/232

—232/Chamblin Rd

—Hail report at Westmont subdivision

—per citizen second touch down at 919 Louisville Rd

—Hail on Ashton Woods subdivision

—Brookfield subn off of 28/Riverwatch

—Hail in Maple Creek Subd.

—Hail in Petersburg Station

—Hail on Belair Road

—Hail has been reported on Silver Bluff Road (Highway 302) near Herndon Dairy Road in Aiken County.

—Trees, mailboxes reported down in McDuffie County on Augusta Highway at the beginning of Moose Club Road. There are reports of siding in yards. The roads in that area are closed.

—Hail, high winds, and lightning reported near Highway 1 and Belvedere-Clearwater Road in Aiken County.

—Hail reported in the Belair Pines Area near South Belair Road. No visible damage.

—Pea-sized hail, winds reported near South Meadows Subdivision near New Ellenton, in Aiken County.

—Hail reported near Ironhorse Apartment Complex in west Augusta near Riverwatch Parkway and Stevens Creek Road.

—Home in the Euchee Creek Subdivision in Grovetown had awning covering back terrace torn off. Pool pump house completely destroyed, several sections of fence blown out.

—Pea-sized hail reported alonog Pine Log Road in Aiken.

—Hail reported in Martinez on Columbia Road near the Merrymount Subdivision.

—Report of tornado ripping part of rood and garage from home on Intermediate Road in Columbia County.

—Trees reported down, power outages reported in McCormick, SC.

—Funnel cloud reported near Jimmy Dyess Parkway near Fort Gordon.

—Trees reported uprooted on Bell Drive in Beech Island, SC.

—Houses reported destroyed on Primrose Road, off Old Barton Chapel Road, near Barton Village.

—Reports that the Silver Bluff Fire Department is leveled, and major problems reported on Highway 278.

—Flash flooding reported at Steeplechase Apartments, in Aiken.

—Reported damage from possible tornado touch down on Silverton Road, in Augusta. 50’ pine tree reportedly uprooted.

—Red Cross on its way to Grovetown, where 3 mobile homes suffered extensive damage.

—According to Pam Tucker, straight lines, 75-100 mph, are the probable cause of most of the damage in Harlem and Grovetown.

—Trees reported down and scross fences in Saluda County between Highway 178 and Highway 702.

—Damage reported in Beech Island on Dobson Road with trees down and power outages.

—Traffic lights reported out at Barton Chapel Road and Gordon Highway. Lots of debris reported.

—Several power lines reported down on Bungalow Road, and trees reported on homes.

—Power lines reported down off Old Louisville Road, in Grovetown.

—Tree reportedly fell on highway in Hephzibah, GA.

—Reports of people trapped in overturned mobile homes in Gough, GA.

—Golf-ball sized hail reported on William Few Parkway in Evans, GA.

—Reports of a tree down on an elderly couple’s vehicle on Bungalow Road. They are also are experiencing a power outage.

—Widespread damage in Burke County reported to 911.

—Fatal wreck reported on Highway 78 in Windsor, SC.

—Reported structure fire in Bath, SC.

—Wreck reported on Highway 278 with entrapment.

I Feel it is a shame at this time of need to advertise services during this time of need. If anybody needs help with clean up with trees or anything else. There are plenty of people that are willing to help free of charge. A tornado touched down in Grovetown, GA the Red Cross is there.  Several are with out homes.

Reporting large hail and strong winds in the West Hills area off Stevens Creek Road in Augusta.

Small tornado or extremely high winds did damage in Euchee Creek Subdivision on Cannock Street Friday night around 10:40.
