Burke County, GA—Some construction could soon begin on two new nuclar reactors at Plant Vogtle.
Wednesday, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) granted what is called an early site permit. That means federal regulators have reviewed safety and environmental issues at the site.
Construction of those reactors is expected to finish in 2017.
