New Visitation Policy at the Medical College of Georgia

Changes are coming to the Medical College of Georgia hospital visitation policy due to risk of swine flu.

Augusta, Ga - Changes coming to the Medical College of Georgia.

According to hospital officials a new policy goes into effect that will restrict some from visiting the hospital.

Officials say its all preventive measures to help avoid the spread of potentially severe respiratory and other communicable diseases currently circulating in the community.

According to a statement both the children’s hospital and the adult hospital will restrict anyone under the age of 18 from visiting, temporarily.

Hospital officials says there will be flexibility to this policy when necessary.
