Thomson, GA—A company that produces and sells medical equipment is getting ready to open up in Thomson.
Reliant Medical is based out of Florida. Company officials have built a warehouse at the Thomson Industrial Park. Workers at the warehouse will build refurbished MRI equipment for doctors and hospitals.
The operations manager tere says they will start at a slow pace.
Maurice Clark, operations manager: “We’ve got eight acres here and we are going to build three more facilites like this building and we are just going to keep going out to the west of us and hopefully, as long as the economy moves a little bit…it’s been kind of slow.“
The company plans on hiring at least 5 people and, by the beginning of the year, they will hire at least up to 20.
