Atlanta, GA—There is a plan on the table to move the Atlanta Falcons out of Atlanta and into a suburb.

Jeff Fuqua has been putting together the deal to secure the 165 acres just inside I-285, in Doraville, along with General Motors, the Falcons, and investors.

The plan has a new stadium taking up 100 acres, and a convention center, hotel, retail, and luxury apartments to occupy the rest.

Falcons owner Arthur Blank says he prefers to keep the Falcons in Atlanta, but that he has toured the site.
