Hephzibah, GA—Some Richmond County 5th graders are pretty pumped Barack Obama won the election…that’s because they voted for him in their school election.
For weeks, Mrs. Carter’s class at Deer Chase Elementary School, in Hephzibah, has been learning about presidential politics and talking about the candidates and their messages.
Besides being excited about his victory, some of the students expressed concern for Obama’s safety when he takes office. Today they talked about wanting Obama to follow through with his promise of change. Don’t take it from us—hear from them… watch!!
