Augusta, GA—A major speedbump on the information super highway, Thursday morning, delayed flights across the country, including Augusta.
At Bush Field, those flying Delta in and out of Atlanta had their travel plans put on hold. The computer problems delayed three inbound and outbound flights.
The delays left dozens of passengers waiting and wondering when they be on their way.
Sally Fisher, Columbia County: “We don’t know…as long as I get into Dallas for my son’s piano lesson by 6:30…I’ll be really happy…“
George Eskola, reporting: “Flying nowadays is such a hassle, are you mad?“
Fisher: “No, this happened and we accept it and go with the flow.“
By noon, things were starting to unravel getting into Atlanta. The glitch did not impact Augusta flights in and out of Charlotte, on U.S. Air.
