Appling, GA—We all know serious sunbathers don’t like to have tan lines…but just how far would you go to avoid them? One officer found out the hard way.

Columbia County Animal Control Officer Russell Swann went to the Rock Hill Baptist Church cemetery, after receiving a call about a stray dog. Well, he found the dog….and two naked sunbathers…right there in the cemetery.

Officer Russell Swann, Columbia County Animal Control: “They started throwing their clothes on, real quick, so I turned around and started walking this way. And, when I got back around the corner, that’s when I called dispatch. They had a big picnic-sized blanket out, and they were just sitting out here like it was no big deal.“

The couple lucked out and were just given a warning.
