Belair Road Ramp From I-20 To Be Temporarily Closed

According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, the I-20 west exit ramp to Belair Road will be temporarily closed to facilitate the forming and pouring of concrete walls on this ramp. We have the dates and times of the temporary closure.

Augusta, GA—According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, the I-20 west exit ramp to Belair Road will be temporarily closed nightly on the following dates and times:

Wednesday, September 9, through Friday, September 11, between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m.
Monday, September 14, through Friday, September 18; 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Saturday, September 12, weather permitting
Saturday, September 19, weather permitting

This work is necessary to facilitate the forming and pouring of concrete walls on this ramp. Traffic will be detoured using Wheeler Road and South Belair Road. Local Sheriff’s will be onsite to assist with traffic. Traffic may be stopped for short periods.

This is a WORK ZONE and extreme caution is necessary. Motorists are advised to reduce speeds, pay attention to all work zone/advisory signs and seek alternate routes when possible.
