Some big bucks are on the way to Augusta’s bus system thanks to the stimulus bill. The city is getting nearly $3 million in stimulus money.

Augusta, Ga—Some big bucks are on the way to Augusta’s bus system thanks to the stimulus bill.

The city is getting nearly $3 million in stimulus money.

The cash will pay for two new buses, which cost more than $700,000 each.

The money will also pay for three replacement engines, and nearly $1 million in preventive maintenance.
