Appling, GA Man Appears In Court On Miley Cyrus Stalking Charges

The man accused of stalking Miley Cyrus appeared in Tybee Court, Tuesday afternoon, but the preliminary hearing expected to take place was continued until next week. The state requested the continuance because they want more time to assess the results of a search warrant served on 53-year-old Mark McLeod’s Appling, GA home, several weeks ago.

Tybee Island, GA—The man accused of stalking Miley Cyrus appeared in Tybee Court, Tuesday afternoon, but the preliminary hearing expected to take place was continued until next week.

The state requested the continuance because they want more time to assess the results of a search warrant served on 53-year-old Mark McLeod’s Appling, GA home, several weeks ago.

Also, one of the officers set to testify at the hearing was in training Tuesday.

McLeod remains in the Chatham County Jail where he has been held since his arrest.

The judge has set a $50,000 bond.
