Aiken, SC—Students at USC-Aiken were encouraged Thursday to get free HIV testing while representatives from Sean’s Last Wish were there.

The tests are completely confidential, and students were counseled about safe sex and sexually transmitted diseases.

Students were required to “cotton swab” their mouths, and in about 20 minutes, given results.

Neil Bridgers, Unity Alliance president, USC-Aiken: “People seem to be getting tested, there’s a line going, it’s surprising how much I’m not having to educate people know they need to get tested.“

It’s the third year USC-Aiken has brought the free testing to the school.
