Augusta, GA—Across the CSRA, members of the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus held a weekend seminar.

Topics ranged from education to healthcare.

The event ended at MCG’s Children’s Medical Center, where a presentation was given about the state of children’s healthcare.

State leaders say Augusta was the best place to have the seminar.

State Representative Quincy Murphy, (D) Augusta, GA: “School issues, educational issues, health issues and just concerns in general. Augusta is the second largest municipality in the state, and it brings us here at this time.“

The weekend workshops were held at Paine College and MCG.
