Augusta, GA—Thursday is the National Day Of Prayer, and there were services all over the country to mark it, including aprayer rally at Curtis Baptist Church, Thursday morning.

Students in grades 2 through 12 of the school participated, but it’s not just a one-day thing at Curtis Baptist.

Francine Burroughs, Curtist Baptist Church School Administrator: “In our school, it is 365 days, but there is one day set aside on our national calendar that says that we should focus, collectively. Doesn’t make a difference what faith they are, as long as they believe in Jesus Christ, we are all collectively praying together.“

President Obama signed a proclamation to honor the National Day of Prayer.
