Belvedere, SC—It’s not even Thanksgiving, but they’re gearing up for Christmas at Bel-Ridge Baptist Church in Belvedere, South Carolina. The church is a collection spot for “Operation Christmas Child.“
The project collects shoeboxes packed with gifts for children in more than 100 impoverished countries.
Pastor Earl Welch, Bel-Ridge Baptist Church: “It’s not just giving them a great gift, as far as something material, but it’s also about letting them know that God loves them. And they may not have heard that message before. Most probably haven’t.“
