UNDATED—History has been made in this year’s election. For the first time ever, an African-American has been elected President of the United States.

Barack Obama made a campaign stp in Aiken, back in the first week of October in 2007.

WJBF News Channel 6’s Barclay Bishop and photojournalist Brett Buffington were the only news crew in the CSRA to interview Obama as he told the gathering that South Carolina was important, as was the entire South, to the 2008 Presidential Election.

We take a look back on the campaign trail, now, as Obama talks about the campaign.
