Seminole, OK—More is being learned about an Oklahoma man charged with the shooting deaths of two Seminole County deputies.
Ezekiel Holbert was wanted for trying to strangle his mother. The deputies were trying to arrest the 26-year-old for failing to make a court appearance on the domestic violence case, when they were killed.
The fallen officers are being remembered by co-workers as good deputies and good friends.
Daniel McCann, friend of slain deputies: “I can’t believe it. He was such a good officer, good friend, both of them. And, it’s real tough right now.“
Holbert’s mother told police he tried to strangle her after he inhaled paint thinner.
