NAVAJO, N.M. (AP) - The FBI says it has made an arrest in the slaying of a nun who worked on a New Mexico Indian reservation.

The announcement Thursday morning came days after the body of 64-year-old Sister Marguerite Bartz was found in her home in the northwestern New Mexico town of Navajo. Her church sent someone to look for her when she failed to show up as scheduled for Sunday Mass in the neighboring community of Sawmill.

The FBI said that they arrested one person early Thursday in Navajo. No additional information was immediately released.
