MacClesfield, NC—A North Carolina boy, left tied to a tree for more than 18 hours in June, died of dehydration and heat stroke. That’s according to an autopsy report released.
Tyler McMillan’s father and stepmother have been charged with murder and felony child abuse.
The two allegedly tied the boy to a tree overnight as punishment.
The autopsy also revealed that the boy’s body was bruised and had insect bites on it.
