Richmond County School Bus Problem Reports Decreasing

Augusta, GA—Now that school is off and running, Richmond County says most of the school bus issues are worked out.

There was an issue with overcrowding and mixed up routes because of all the zone changes.

Richmond County School System spokesman Louis Svehla says routes that needed more buses for relief have been identified and fixed.

Temporary workers were assigned to take phone calls about bus problems, so the calls have slowed, too.
