Evans, GA—We have a chance to clear up news that has been making the rounds in other media about an incident at Evans High School. WJBF News Channel 6 has heard from some of you, asking about it.

Last week, during a shop class, some students had shaped a wire in a way that made it look like a noose.

Even though investigators were called in, they found no malicious intent and nobody was charged.

Columbia County Schools Superintendant Dr. Charles Nagle says they treated this as a class disruption, with school suspensions.
