Aiken County

Aiken County's graduation ceremonies will be held at the USC-A Convocation Center, in Aiken, on Thursday and Friday, June 4th-5th. This marks the first time Aiken County's high schools have used a central location for their graduation ceremonies. In the past, the ceremonies were held at the individual schools, with one or more schools holding the graduation at the same time. there are 2 schools, however, that will still hold their ceremonies at their respective school. Ridge Spring-Monetta High School will hold theirs at their gymnasium on Thursday, June 4th at 6:00 p.m., and Wagener-Salley High School will hold theirs on Friday, June 5th, in their gymnasium at 6:00 p.m. We may be unable to record these graduations, as they are not at the USC-A Convocation Center, where our crews will be. If anything changes, we will have that information here.

The schedule of ceremonies is as follows:

Thursday, June 4th:

  • Midland Valley High School, begins at 5:00 p.m.
  • Silver Bluff High School, begins at 8:00 p.m.

Friday, June 5th:

  • Aiken High School, begins at 2:00 p.m.
  • South Aiken High School, begins at 5:00 p.m.
  • North Augusta High School, begins at 8:00 p.m.

We will record the graduations, then, as soon as we can process the large amount of video footage, we will have the graduations available for viewing, at your convenience, on WJBF.com, hopefully on the same day as the graduation ceremony.
