Woman Beaten After House Broken Into In Columbia County

The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is asking residents to be on the lookout for a break-in suspect who attacked a woman in her home after she returned from taking her kids to school. The break-in and attack occurred in the Orchard Hill subdivision, off of Columbia Road, on Hot Springs Court, around 9:00 a.m., Wednesday morning.

Columbia County, GA—The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is asking residents to be on the lookout for a break-in suspect who attacked a woman in her home after she returned from taking her kids to school.

The break-in and attack occurred in the Orchard Hill subdivision, off of Columbia Road, on Hot Springs Court, around 9:00 a.m., Wednesday morning.

The victim was taken to MCG. There is now word on the extent of her injuries, or her present condition.
