UPDATED: Wagener, SC Men Sought in Perry Police Department Burglary Arrested
According to Lt. Michael Frank, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO), in cooperation with the Perry Police Department, arrested two Wagener men concerning the November 13 burglary and theft from the Perry Police Department, at 147 Center Street, in Perry. They turned themselves in Thursday night. The men are identified as Michael Hutto, and 29-year-old Daniel Conder.
Aiken, SC., November 20—According to Lt. Michael Frank, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO), in cooperation with the Perry Police Department, arrested two Wagener men concerning the November 13 burglary and theft from the Perry Police Department, at 147 Center Street, in Perry. They turned themselves in Thursday night.
Michael A. Hutto, 19, of the 100 block of Knob Hill Circle, in Wagener, is charged with Burglary - Second Degree and Grand Larceny - More than $1000.
Daniel E. Conder, 29, of the 1000 block of Shealey Drive, in Wagener, is charged with Burglary - Second Degree and Grand Larceny - More than $1000.
The suspects forced open the front door and took an assault rifle and a set of digital scales from a storage room. They unsuccessfully tried to carry away a 1500 pound safe. It was found unopened in front of the police department.
