Trailer Stolen From Meineke Muffler In Columbia County

According to Capt. Steve Morris, the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) is looking for a suspect in a theft of a flatbed cargo trailer stolen from Meineke Muffler located at 3815 Washington Road, In Martinez.

Columbia County, GA—According to Capt. Steve Morris, the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) is looking for a suspect in a theft of a flatbed cargo trailer stolen from Meineke Muffler located at 3815 Washington Road, In Martinez.

An employee stated an unknown male subject took a flatbed trailer that was being stored behind the business. The employee stated, when he arrived at work, on August 31st, he noticed that the rear fence of the business was open and the trailer was missing. The employee stated he went inside and reviewed the video surveillance footage and noticed that an unknown black male backed his truck up to the trailer and drove off.

This incident happened on August 30th, at 4:48 p.m.

the vehicle is described by CCSO to possibly be a two-tone extended cab Ford Ranger with chrome rims.
